Glass ionomer liner/base is applied under a final composite restoration. It bonds to dentine, sealing the tooth to reduce micro-leakage and helping reduce postoperative sensitivity in a vital tooth and infection risk.

pod glass ionomer is a self-curing, radiopaque, manually-mixed glass
ionomer cement with the following properties:
– Good bond to tooth structure
– Good flow properties
– High compressive strength
– Fluoride release to inhibit oral bacteria
– Low film thickness
– Universal shade

Supplied as 30g of powder and 10ml of liquid and mixed in a 1:1 ratio i.e. 1 drop of liquid with 1 scoop of powder.
