A MAXIGUARD® starter pack will allow you to meet the differing needs of your clients for an effective dental homecare solution. MAXIGUARD® Gel, Wipes and OraZn are very effective home dental care products that can be sold over the counter for ongoing use.
MAXI/GUARD® Oral Cleansing Gel® is considered our “professional strength” product as it is very concentrated and is recommended for severe oral problems such as advanced periodontal cases, post oral surgery and pre and post prophy.
MAXIGUARD® Oral Cleansing Spray® contains the same effective formula as MAXIGUARD oral gel, but applied as a spray, for clients not comfortable in putting their hands in their pet’s mouth. Useful as an oral cleanser during dental procedures to reduce bacterial load and staff exposure to bacterial aerosol. It is also very good for quickly removing halitosis.
MAXIGUARD® OraZn® has excellent pet acceptance because of its taste-free, neutralised formulation that is acceptable to even the most challenging cases such as cats and small dogs. OraZn also helps reduce the deposition of plaque, aids in the reduction of gingivitis and neutralises offensive mouth odours. The product is very effective in maintaining oral health after a dental prophy.
MAXIGUARD® Oral Cleansing Wipes® are ideal for controlling halitosis and reducing plaque deposition on pets that may not readily accept a toothbrush or for pet owners that have struggled with consistent application of an oral care product. It is perfect for maintaining oral health and extending the time between professional dental cleanings. These wipes are a great educational aid to show pet owners the importance of good home oral care. Simply use one wipe to clean the mouth of a client’s pet and show the client the amount of oral debris on the wipe. The client will be amazed, which makes it much easier to promote pet dental care and daily use of MAXIGUARD® Oral Cleansing Wipes.
MAXIGUARD® Gel & OraZn Dispensary Packs.
The smaller bottles in these packs are perfect for dispensing immediately after a professional dental prophylaxis and, when used properly, can extend the time between these dental cleanings.
It is recommended that every dental procedure is discharged with one of these bottles. Note MAXIGUARD® Oral Cleansing Gel is recommended post extraction or surgery or if there are pre-existing conditions such as advanced periodontal disease or stomatitis.
