Veterinary Dental Forceps, Retractors and Rongeurs

The Inovadent range of forceps include extraction forceps to remove teeth after they have been loosened; tartar forceps with a specially curved beak for easy and safe removal of heavy calculus; and tissue forceps designed to securely hold delicate oral tissue without damaging it. The Inovadent lip and minnesota retractors provide better access to the oral cavity by holding the lips, cheeks and tongue away thereby protecting them during dental procedures, while the Inovadent Rongeurs are used to trim, contour and remove bone after extractions.

Inovadent Forceps

Inovadent Large Breed Tartar Removing Forceps

The special design allows easy removal of tartar build up from the tooth’s surface while decreasing the chance of fracturing the tooth in the process.

Suitable for medium and large dogs

Small Breed Tartar Removing Forceps

The special design allows easy removal of tartar build up from the tooth’s surface while decreasing the chance of fracturing the tooth in the process.

Suitable for cats and small dogs.

Large Breed Extraction Forceps

Large breed extraction forceps are designed to grip the teeth of medium and large dogs after elevation during the extraction process.

Small Breed Extraction Forceps

Small breed extraction forceps are designed to grip the teeth of small dogs and cats after elevation during the extraction process.

Angular Fragment Forceps

Used for seizing or removing root fragments with the 45 degree angle of the tip enabling improved access.

Adson-Brown Tissue Forceps

For holding and manipulating delicate oral tissue. These forceps have a wide, flat thumb grasp area and tips that have 1 x 2 teeth. The jaws are short and the tips are narrow making them excellent for tight spaces.

Adson-Brown Serrated Tissue Forceps

These forceps have a thin, fine jaw but no teeth. Tiny serrated lines on the inside of the jaw tip grip the surface without cutting into it.

Retractors

Lip Retractor

Gently pulls the lips back for clear access to the oral cavity and the plastic coated lip minimises trauma to the lips.

Minnesota Retractor

One of the most frequently used retractors in veterinary dentistry, the Minnesota retractor features a curved, rounded tip that’s ideal for retracting tissue, the patient’s cheek or as a lip retractor.

Rongeurs

Small Rongeurs

Used to trim, contour and remove bone after extractions in small breeds.

Medium Rongeurs

Used to trim, contour and remove bone after extractions in medium and large breeds.
