Standard Equine Hand Floats

The VDS Standard Equine Hand Floats are American made, crafted in polished extra strong #7 gauge stainless steel and available in eight different sizes and angle combinations. The standard hand float features a comfortable handle that allows cutting on the forward stroke for the best possible floating efficiency. A flat shaft is used so that, without looking, you know the floats relative angle on the dental arcade. “L” series blades are used with the standard float.


Standard Dental Float – 2nd Premolar

The Standard 2nd Premolar Dental Float has a 30 degree head, a total length of 343 mm (13.5 in) and uses a 51 mm (2 in) Blade.

The Obtuse short Standard Dental Float has a 10 degree head, is 413 mm (16-1/4 in) long and uses a 76.2 mm (3 in) blade.
